Discussion Ferro or Anvil? The eternal 'one shot that actually hurts' argument

The Ferro is 2,900 for 40 damage a shot with Strong armor pen - but that single-round mag means every miss is a full reload and a prayer. The Anvil costs 13,000, same 40 damage, but you get a 6-round mag and 652 DPS instead of the Ferro's 264. For pure 'get this ARC off me' value I lean Anvil, but the Ferro is the cheapest heavy-ammo gun in the game and it shreds robots. What's actually in your budget slot?

The Anvil outsells the Ferro five to one in my threads and it's not close - people pay for the mag, not the damage. But nobody who's cleared a Bastion with a Ferro forgets it. Both earn the slot.

Ferro for ARC, Anvil for players. The Ferro's armor pen does real work on a Bastion's plate, the Anvil's the panic button when a rat's in your face. I carry both and regret nothing.

the ferro reload cadence is the real skill check. you either commit to the 40 or you die mid-reload, no in between. that gun has cost me more runs than any ARC and i STILL bring it.
