Discussion SBMM is punishing me for having a good game and I have the receipts

Every single time I drop a good match, the NEXT lobby is a sweat-fest tournament where everyone slide-cancels like their life depends on it. It's not a conspiracy, matchmaking demonstrably tightens after you perform. I'm not asking to stomp bots, I'm asking to not get put in a scrim every time I dare to go positive. The 'it's just in your head' crowd can fight me.

We argue about everything but on this we're aligned - the difficulty ramp after a good game is real and it makes casual play exhausting. That said, half of 'sweaty lobby' is just you being good enough to notice the ceiling.

Careful stating it as fact - the DB and patch notes don't publish the matchmaking weighting, so 'it tightens after you perform' is player-observed, not confirmed. The FEELING is near-universal though; I just can't hand you a number for it.

The honest version: matchmaking is a black box, the experience of getting a harder lobby after a good one is widely reported, and nobody outside the studio has the actual formula. Vent valid, certainty not.
