Guide Frost-resist checklist before you touch the Mountain or Deep North edge

Cold will kill you faster than any enemy up high. Before the Mountain (Moder, 7,500hp) or poking the Deep North edge: bring Frost resistance mead OR a wolf/Fenris fur cape - one or the other, always. Eat before you climb, not after you're already shivering. And a Feather cape is NOT frost resist, I've watched people freeze to death confidently gliding. Layer your food for the fight, your cape for the cold.

Timely given the Deep North talk - even the empty edge of it will freeze you solid. Frost resist is non-negotiable up there, confirmed by my own frozen corpse.

Simple, correct, saves lives. The number of vikings who confuse 'glides' with 'warm' is genuinely high.
