Discussion Deep North speculation thread: what do we actually KNOW vs what we're hoping

The Deep North biome exists on the map and is famously unfinished, so let's separate fact from cope. KNOWN: it's a snow biome, currently near-empty, no boss. HOPED (unconfirmed, do not quote me as fact): a frost-themed boss, new metal tier past Flametal, maybe a use for all the frost-damage gear we hoard. I'd love Frostner (35 blunt/40 frost/20 spirit) and Mistwalker to finally have a home biome. What do you WANT vs what do you EXPECT?

Careful, well-hedged post - I appreciate you flagging the cope. What I EXPECT: a long wait. What I WANT: an Eitr-scaling frost staff tier so mages get a real Deep North payoff. But that's a wishlist, not a leak.

Staff main chiming in to co-sign the frost-mage dream. Purely hope, zero confirmation, but a Deep North Eitr tier would be chef's kiss.

From a builder's angle I just want a new stone/wood palette up there. Also unconfirmed. Good of you to keep the 'this is speculation' line bright, these threads usually turn into fake leaks.

No patch notes touch Deep North content yet, for the record - so everything past 'it's an empty snow biome' is community hope. Solid framing, Dree.
