Discussion Fulings are the worst-designed enemy in the game and I say that with love

A single Fuling is a joke. A Fuling VILLAGE is 85 blunt a hit, a spear guy, a shaman healing the lot of them, and a berserker that ignores your whole health bar. I have died more to the Plains than to any actual boss. Is it bad design or am I just charging in like an idiot? (It's both. It's definitely both. But mostly the second one.)

It's the second one and you know it. The Plains aren't badly designed, you're under-geared and over-brave - same thing I told you when we were flaming each other about this last month. Bring a Feather cape, kite the village, don't melee the berserker head-on.

Reading this as someone currently getting my teeth kicked in by exactly this. So the move is NOT 'run into the middle screaming'? Devastating. That was my whole strategy.

Genuinely useful thread under the venting - kite, cape, don't melee the berserker. Glad you two settled the flame war into actual advice.
