Discussion Jupiter vs Osprey -- which one?

Been running the Jupiter (Legendary Sniper Rifle) but everyone keeps pushing the Osprey (Rare Sniper Rifle). For those who've used both -- which actually wins, and in what situation?

The Jupiter take is correct and I'm tired of pretending it isn't.
