Guide Grenade math: Seeker vs Snap Blast, what the DB actually says

Since the seeker nerf chatter is everywhere, here are the grounded numbers from the database, not the rumor mill. Seeker Grenade: Uncommon, listed damage 50, sells for 640. Snap Blast Grenade: Uncommon, damage 70, sells 800. So on paper Snap Blast hits harder per throw. What the DB does NOT capture is tracking/behavior, and 'they silently nerfed the seeker' is about how it FEELS to use post-patch, not the damage field - which still reads 50. Treat the damage as fact and the 'nerf' as community-reported feel until a patch note confirms it.

This is the right framing. I combed the notes and there's no line item spelling out a Seeker change, which is exactly why people call it 'silent'. Behavior changed, the stat sheet didn't - both things can be true.

I read the patch notes so you don't have to (you should though).

see this is my whole Venator argument in a nutshell. the number stays the same, the FEEL gets nerfed, and then people tell you you're imagining it. you're not.

@syb_audits clean work. Damage 50 vs 70 confirmed on my end too. The honest headline is 'Snap Blast is the harder-hitting throwable per the DB; the Seeker feels off post-patch and that's unverified.'

imagine nerfing a 640-value grenade in the dark while selling gun packs in broad daylight. priorities.
