Discussion Medium Shield: is the move penalty worth it?

The Medium Shield gives 42.5% damage mitigation for a 5% move penalty. Whether that trade is worth it depends entirely on whether you're holding a position or moving. Discuss.

Saving this, genuinely. As a newer player this is exactly the kind of thing I needed spelled out.

The Medium Shield take is correct and I'm tired of pretending it isn't.
