Discussion Shield math: the Medium Shield (42.5% mitigation)

The Medium Shield gives 42.5% damage mitigation for a 5% move penalty. Whether that trade is worth it depends entirely on whether you're holding a position or moving. Discuss.

The Medium Shield take is correct and I'm tired of pretending it isn't.

Respectfully the Medium Shield is more situational than this makes out. Good thread though.
