Guide Late-game weapon shopping list (Black Forge tier)

Once you've got the black forge, here's what's worth crafting. Arbalest (crossbow, 200 pierce) for burst from range. Berserkir axes (dual axes, 140 slash) if you like getting close and messy - needs Flametal. Black metal atgeir (105 pierce polearm) for crowd control. Pick based on whether you kite or brawl. Ashwood and Flametal are the gates, so farm them first.

@SwampSlogger the Berserkir axes are so satisfying but Flametal farming in the Ashlands nearly killed me more than the enemies did.

Good list. I'd add the Arbalest is criminally underrated - 200 pierce a bolt trivialises a lot of Ashlands packs if you can hold distance.
