Guide Equalizer vs Hullcracker -- which one?

Been running the Equalizer (Legendary Special) but everyone keeps pushing the Hullcracker (Epic Special). For those who've used both -- which actually wins, and in what situation?

This plus 'get your gear out and actually use it' is basically the whole game.

Hard agree. Been saying this for a while and getting looked at funny.

Respectfully the Hullcracker is more situational than this makes out. Good thread though.
