Discussion Recon meta appreciation thread (yes another one)

Bloodhound's Eye of the Allfather, Seer's Focus of Attention, Vantage's spotting - information wins games at every rank. I'll die on this hill. A team that always knows where the enemy is beats a team with slightly better aim. Fight me (you'll be scanned first).

Here we go again. Recon is strong, I'll give you that - but 'scanned first' means nothing if your squad can't convert. Info is a multiplier on damage, not a replacement for it.

There's actually a decent case here if you look at Recon's class passive access to survey beacons vs a Skirmisher's repositioning. Different win conditions, not strictly better/worse.
