Weak point on the Charred Warrior?

The Charred Warrior tanks everything I throw at it. Database says the weakness is weak: Spirit; resistant: Pierce; veryresistant: Fire; immune: Poison -- am I supposed to be focusing that exclusively? Feels like I'm just chipping otherwise.
