Straight from the DB, the Aphelion is a Legendary Battle Rifle: 25 damage a shot, 9 fire rate, 10-round mag. Per-shot it lives or dies on whether you're hitting weak points or hosing plate. Verdict: great in the right hands, ammo-hungry in the wrong ones.

I love the Aphelion but I think you're selling it slightly short here.
